Random Idea Capture (사용기)
- Context: researcher, constantly exposed to CS papers/talks/conversations
- Ideas arise at random: blog topics, research directions, cross-field connections
- Previously: wrote in Obsidian Random Ideas note
- Problem 1: capture friction
- Hard to open Obsidian mid-activity (driving, talking, hands occupied)
- Plan to write later → forget → idea permanently lost
- Problem 2: review friction
- Even when captured, rarely revisited (checked 1-2x per year)
- Ideas just sit and decay
- Problem 3: activation energy
- Going from “note exists” to “actually starting” is a gap
- Example: announced productivity blog series years ago, never followed up
- People kept asking “when’s the next post?” ㅋㅋ
- Intent was real; activation energy was the bottleneck
