Random Idea Capture (사용기)

• Context: researcher, constantly exposed to CS papers/talks/conversations
  • Ideas arise at random: blog topics, research directions, cross-field connections
  • Previously: wrote in Obsidian Random Ideas note
• Problem 1: capture friction
  • Hard to open Obsidian mid-activity (driving, talking, hands occupied)
  • Plan to write later → forget → idea permanently lost
• Problem 2: review friction
  • Even when captured, rarely revisited (checked 1-2x per year)
  • Ideas just sit and decay
• Problem 3: activation energy
  • Going from “note exists” to “actually starting” is a gap
  • Example: announced productivity blog series years ago, never followed up
    • People kept asking “when’s the next post?” ㅋㅋ
    • Intent was real; activation energy was the bottleneck
